乌度卡：防守意识和投篮选择对惠特摩尔来说非常重要

12月21日讯火箭主帅乌度卡本周接受《休斯敦纪事报》采访时，谈到了本队二年级球员惠特摩尔。

乌度卡在采访中表示，希望惠特摩尔能在防守端打出更加稳定的表现。

他表示：“防守意识对他来说非常重要，这也是我们反复向所有队员所强调的。另一个重点是投篮选择，我认为他在这些方面有所改进。我还希望看到他在篮板争抢上有所提升，能够在其他方面做更多贡献。”

“总的来说，他在G联盟比赛和在这里比赛所积累的经验，对他来说是有帮助的，我们也看到了他可以在某些方面继续进步。”乌度卡说道。

据统计，本赛季惠特摩尔在G联盟出战11场比赛，场均上场28.8分钟，能得到19.3分（投篮命中率50.3%）和5.5个篮板，三分球命中率为40.7%，场均命中3.4个；在火箭出战9场，场均5.7分1.3篮板，场均只能得到9.1分钟上场时间。
